Stealth c and rock a are both bad ships but i enjoy the thrill of playing shieldless early game whereas managing my missiles while moving slow ass rockmen around a mazelike ship is just. I may attempt to add the new ships to the tier list after some derusting and playing the new ships.
A lot of the ships here are very similar in power and while one might be at a lower tier it can still get kills versus ships in higher levels. The universe of ftl is inhabited by friendly and enemy ships. Jojo and caesar avoid the ray the former by jumping over it. The holistic 3 tier rating system 2 of which are practical because of survival and speedrunning purposes ensures each ship has a possible chance to prove itself to be worthy for you to pick up and try. For me however the most important difference between c tier and f tier is how frustrating they are to play not how powerful they are.
